Scuba Club Cozumel Dive Resort is located on the waterfront one mile south of the downtown ferry dock. The building is an attractive multi-level building of Spanish-Colonial architecture that blends in with the waterfront. At Scuba Club there is no hype, no pretensions, just good diving. Divers learn about the resort by word of mouth. That's how divers find their way here. This resort is without a doubt a diver's favorite resort in Cozumel.

The resort offers spacious, comfortable rooms and amenities include internet access, air conditioning, ceiling fans, hair dryers, alarm clocks, a small refrigerator, and private patio. Finished in tile and stucco, the rooms are ready for wet divers and have drying racks for dive suits on each terrace. Rooms are not equipped with a TV or telephone. The rooms do have an individual character with a feel of Mexican heritage. Most rooms have an ocean view. Rooms are available with king beds, as well as rooms with two doubles. Larger family rooms have two doubles and an additional sitting area with a twin bed. A few rooms have been remodeled to accommodate the needs of handicapped divers.
Meals are included in dive packages at Scuba Club Cozumel and they are served at restaurants located in the center of the resort and at the Fat Grouper Grill. The downstairs is open-air for breakfast buffet style and sit-down lunch and has a bar. Upstairs is the main dining room which is air conditioned and has an ocean view for spectacular sunsets. Every evening there is a different selection of entrees, comprised of meat, poultry and seafood, with a taste of the cuisine from the Yucatan region. Scuba-Cozumel is the on-site dive operation for Scuba Club Cozumel resort. The dive center is a PADI 5 Star facility and full-service dive operation located inside the hotel premises and includes an air filling station, a full line of rental gear and basic repairs shop, as well as a training center offering specialty courses and certification at all levels.
There are many dive sites to choose from, most are a short boat ride from the dock. The newest site is the wreck of the Felipe Xicotencatl, which is located close to the resort, near Tormentos Reef. There are daily trips to that site at 3:00 in the afternoon with a minimum of four divers.
Dive packages include 7-nights’ accommodation, five days of two-tank diving, unlimited shore diving on dive days and three meals daily. Roundtrip airport transfers, hotel tax, drinks, and service charges not included.



Dive Conditions

Cozumel is a year-round diving destination. Water temperatures range from 75°F to 85°F seasonally. Topside temps average 80°F year-round. Underwater visibility is generally excellent, ranging from 75 to 125 feet at most dive sites.
