The Cocos Island Aggressor sets sail for her first voyage in January 2023. The 124-foot ship is diesel-powered and explores Costa Rican waters. Accommodating up to 22 guests across 11 rooms, the Aggressor offers two styles of cabins. The four master staterooms are on the upper deck and have a large window overlooking the sea. Master stateroom 10 has a queen bed, while the others have two twins. There are seven deluxe staterooms with twin beds and two portholes on the lower deck. All rooms include a private bathroom, shower, individual climate control, a hair dryer, a monitor, and a media player. On board, guests can relax at the salon, sun deck, lounge areas, bar, and grill. At night, guests can observe diving and fish identification presentations, watch movies, or play games.
The menu consists of American and local cuisines as well as barbecues. Fruit, cereal, hot entrees, and juices are offered during breakfast. Lunch typically includes soups, bread, salads, and sandwiches. Dinner is prepared by the chef and includes salads, vegetables, seafood, beef, chicken, and a homemade dessert. While all beverages, including wine and beer, are complimentary, it is recommended guests bring their own liquors.
Known for schooling hammerheads, white-tip sharks, mantas, tuna, and whale sharks, the Aggressor takes guests to popular pelagic sites in the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. Popular dive sites include Alcyone, a 600-foot submerged mountain where hammerheads, manta rays, and fish roam as well as Big Dos Amigos, an islet with a 45-foot arch and 60-foot pinnacle where yellowtail snappers, bigeye jacks, and lobster can be spotted. The yacht offers storage space for diving equipment and provides tanks, weight belts, and weights. On-land excursions include birdwatching and tours of national parks. The Cocos ship offers nitrox for EAN-certified divers but does not support technical diving or rebreathers.
