MV FeBrina is a 73-foot liveaboard featuring comfort and convenience. The ship is an older, traditional style vessel, a very stable and extremely seaworthy motor boat, with an efficient deck layout that caters to divers and photographers who want a total PNG dive experience.
Guest cabins are a combination of small singles, large singles, twin share cabins and a double cabin in the bow. All cabins have ensuite bathrooms and individually controlled air conditioning. Cabins are located below deck and accessed by ladder-style stairs. With a maximum of ten to twelve guests, FeBrina is the perfect vessel for those looking for a true boutique liveaboard experience.
MV FeBrina runs several different itineraries during the year depending upon the seasonal weather patterns.
The "Signature Itinerary" covers three of the most popular diving areas of Kimbe Bay, Witu Islands and Fathers Reefs. MV FeBrina operates 10 and 9-night Signature trips in the peak weather months from mid-September through November, and April through June. Water temperatures are slightly cooler in September, October and November and that means there are usually more unusual critters to be found. Water temperatures are usually 29/30 degrees Celsius in the later months, and up to 31 degrees in April and May. There is usually very little rain in October and November, light breezes and plenty of sunshine.
The "Mid-Year" itineraries usually operate through June, July and August and are shorter in duration with each trip being around eight days. These trips visit two dive areas including Kimbe Bay Reefs and either Fathers Reefs or Witu Islands.
During late November and early December, trips offered include a Witu Islands Itinerary, visiting Kimbe Bay Reefs including some beautiful coral reefs and the Witu Islands black sand bays.
Throughout the year MV FeBrina will offer occasional special itineraries within the Bismarck sea and further afield.
