The Solomons PNG Master is a 30-meter custom designed yacht that features 12 cabins accommodating up to 20 guests and a crew of 12. The ship features a large lounge and dining area with a flat screen TV and a dedicated camera area for photographers. The ship includes a large sun deck complete with chaise lounge and on the second deck there is another covered seating area for relaxation.
The dive deck has bathrooms, fresh water showers and rinse tanks for dive equipment and cameras. Each dive station has storage for personal gear. Two ladders access the dive platform and provide easy access to and from the water. Most dives are done directly off the dive deck with a tender in the water for additional safety. The ship features excellent facilities for underwater photographers.
The cabins located on the lower deck are comfortable twin and singles with shared facilities. The upper deck cabins offer a choice of fixed doubles and twins, all with private ensuite bathrooms.
Solomon Islands itineraries - Offering both 7 and 10-nights, the charters offer the best diving in Solomon Islands. The Solomon Islands are THE destination for diver seeking a dramatic change of scenery and off the beaten track. Divers will experience colourful, lush coral gardens, sea fans, decorative walls and caverns combined with the most amazing marine life.
Wreck divers will get a thrill out of the wreck itinerary. A number of Japanese and Allied Forces’ ships and planes ended up on the bottom of the Iron Bottom Sound near Honiara during WWII. Encrusted in corals and surrounded by a plethora of marine life, these wrecks are silent witnesses of some of the fiercest battles that took place in WWII.
Papua New Guinea - Offering arguably the best diving in the Pacific, Papua New Guinea deserves to be added to your bucket list. PNG dive sites are so pristine and remote that new marine species are still being discovered. Divers will experience hammerheads, whale sharks, mantas, dolphins, and pilot whales. For macro lovers, there is also world-class muck diving. Two itineraries are offered in New Britain and one in New Hanover and have been selected for the best possible diving in Papua New Guinea.

Dive Conditions

The Solomon Islands offer great diving conditions all year-round. The water temperatures are stable at 26-29°C/80-85°F. Visibility is generally around 15 meters/50 feet to 21 meters/60 feet or more. Also, on dives over deep water, you can expect a visibility that exceeds 30 meters/100 feet.
The Solomon Islands has some of the most pristine dive sites in the world. Unspoiled because of the remote location, there are not many divers or fishermen to put pressure on the reef and fish. The marine diversity of the Solomon Islands is without equal. Hundreds of world-class wrecks, dramatic caves, endless lush coral gardens, biodiversity to rival other Coral Triangle destinations like Indonesia, PNG, and the Philippines, little to no other dive boats around; the Solomon Islands are a scuba diving paradise.
Lying at the eastern edge of the Coral Triangle, the Solomons offer an impressive diversity of marine life, ranging from nudibranchs to cuttlefish and a wealth of other critters. Fish life is also abundant, including massive schools of trevally and barracuda, along with a vast assortment of colorful reef fish. Many reefs offer abundant healthy hard coral, sponges, fans, and soft coral. Underwater terrain is varied, including walls, slopes, coral gardens, and pinnacles, plus dramatic and highly photographic caverns.
