Activities and water adventures include paddleboarding, snorkeling, canoeing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and more. Guests can enjoy excursions such as submarine trips, fishing, photo flight by seaplane, and island hopping. For guests looking for indoor activities, there is an onsite library where books can be donated or checked out. The resort is also family-friendly with the Wavy Navy Kids Club. The club offers babysitting with crafts, games, racing track, and swimming.
The resort rests in the North Male Atoll, giving it access to some of the Maldives’ top dive sites. A popular site among advanced divers is the oval-shaped Nassimoo Thila. This spot is home to caves, coral heads, overhangs, and aquatic life such as jacks and dogtooth tuna. HP Reef is a great spot for any diver with soft coral, nudibranchs, leaf fish, and eagle rays. The resort has access to the first dive site discovered in the Maldives: Banana Reef. This site, named for its curved shape, features caves, gutters, and overhangs with squirrelfish, bannerfish, and oriental sweetlips. The PADI-certified dive center, diveOceanus, holds daily excursions to dive sites in the area and is run by a highly experienced multilingual staff.

Dive Conditions

The conditions are generally good all the year around Maldives. Air temperature is 26°C to 32°C year-round. The average water temperature ranges from 27°C to 30°C year-round. Divers can expect visibility from 15m to 40m depending on the season and location. The visibility is not as good during the rainy season, May to August. Currents depend a lot on tide and location, and ranges from none in the lagoon to very strong in the channels. Dive depths range from 5m to 40m. The coral reefs are shallow and most of the dive sites are between 10 and 20 meters deep.
Due to the medium to strong currents, drift dives are common. Often divers have to do a negative entry, which means the moment you enter the water, you must descend to the bottom. The Maldives is recommended for the intermediate level or experienced diver. Because of the depths and currents, dives in the Maldives are usually 45 - 50 minutes for many divers. There are many dives sites which are suitable for novice divers as well which are protected from the currents, and novice divers can do drift dives on the long reefs not affected by tricky currents.
