Day 1 Arrival in Tanzania – Welcome to the Land of Wonders
Your unforgettable African journey begins the moment you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our warm and welcoming team will greet you. Enjoy a seamless transfer to your Hotel in Arusha, Tanzania's gateway to wildlife. Relax and rejuvenate, preparing for the exciting days ahead.
Transfer from the airport to the Kibo Palace Hotel. Check-in at the hotel and then relax poolside to enjoy the afternoon.

Day 2: Drive to Serengeti National Park
Breakfast at the Hotel, then check out of the Kibo Palace Hotel for the drive to Serengeti.
After a restful first night's sleep in Tanzania, enjoy an early Breakfast at your hotel. Your guide will pick you up at the scheduled time and start the drive heading to the Serengeti National Park. You will drive through Karatu and Mto wa Mbu (the River of Mosquotos" in the native Swahili language). Along the way, you will be stopping at points of interest to view wildlife as they may be encountered. Upon arrival in the Serengeti Park, you will drive to your hotel, check-in, and have lunch and a relaxing afternoon. Later in the day, you will depart with the guides for an evening game drive game in Serengeti until evening. Return to your hotel for relaxation.

Day 3: Full day game drive in Serengeti
The day begins with a delightful breakfast at the Serengeti Serena Hotel surrounded by the wilderness. You then board your jeep, ready to spend the whole day venturing at the visited and bitten lands of the Serengeti. Game-watching encounters at the park are amazing and unforgettable. Renowned for its diverse wildlife, including the "Big Five" (lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo), Serengeti is home to the world's largest annual animal migration of wildebeest and zebras.
Picnic lunch will be served at the visitors' point where and afterward you will participate in a short presentation about the great migration.
Return to the Serengeti hotel. Relax and enjoy a dinner.

Day 4: Serengeti – Endless Plains and Immersive Adventures
The day begins with another delightful breakfast at the Serengeti Serena Hotel surrounded by the wilderness. Immerse yourself in the lush, villous landscapes of the Serengeti, where adventure and beauty collide. Over two days of exhilarating exploration, you'll journey from rugged kopjes to expansive savannahs teeming with wildebeest, zebras, and more. Witness nature’s wonders up close as you track elusive leopards through rich, verdant foliage, and unwind with serene sundowners against breathtaking, panoramic backdrops. Every moment promises a thrilling discovery, captivating wildlife encounters, and unforgettable views.
The Serengeti also supports a variety of predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and wild dogs. You can also find giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and over 500 bird species in the park. And the black rhino is considered the rarest animal in the Serengeti.
Picnic lunch will be served at a visitors' point and afterward, you will participate in a short presentation about the day's encounters.
Return to the Serengeti hotel. Relax and enjoy a dinner.

Day 5: Journey from the Serengeti to the Majestic Ngorongoro Crater – Africa's Eden
The day begins with another delightful breakfast at the Serengeti Serena Hotel surrounded by the wilderness.
Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime journey from the Serengeti to the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often hailed as "Africa's Eden." This extraordinary haven is home to over 300 species of wildlife, including majestic lions, rare rhinos, graceful elephants, and playful hippos. Experience the thrill of a game drive across the crater floor, where every turn unveils breathtaking scenes of nature. Indulge in a gourmet picnic by the serene hippo pool surrounded by vibrant landscapes.
Other than being the biggest intact (unbroken) volcanic caldera on Earth, the Ngorongoro Crater is also a natural sanctuary for some of the densest populations of large mammals in Africa. Due to its enclosed nature, the Ngorongoro Crater has effectively formed its own ecosystem.
Retreat to the charming town of Karatu for a restful overnight stay where a perfect blend of adventure and tranquility awaits.

Day 6: Arusha fly to Zanzibar
The day begins with another savory breakfast at the Ngorongoro Neptune Lodge surrounded by the wilderness.

After breakfast today, your guide will drive you to the Arusha Airport for your domestic flight to Zanzibar where you will start your beach holiday. Upon arrival at the Zanzibar airport, you will be picked up by your guide and start the drive to the Fumba Beach Lodge where you will be spending the next 4 nights.

Day 7 - 9: Scuba Diving
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before departing from the hotel with the dive group.
Begin your diving or snorkeling in the crystal-clear water of Mnemba Atoll. Explore the vibrant marine life and enjoy the spectacular underwater scenery. After your morning dives are complete, you will return to the lodge for lunch, dinner, and relaxation on the pristine beach.
Over the next few days, you will enjoy some of the best dive sites in Tanzania. Near Fumba Beach Lodge you can explore Ukombe Reef, a healthy house reef, and also consider diving in the north around Nungwi or the northeast near Mnemba Atoll, a protected area known for diving and snorkeling.
• Ukombe Reef: Fumba Beach Lodge runs parallel to Ukombe Reef, an 8km-long reef with a bottom depth of 15 to 18 meters, and the top of the reef is only 3 to 5 meters below the surface. It's known for its healthy and abundant coral and a variety of colorful reef fish.
• Nungwi (north): The north of Zanzibar, around Nungwi, is known for good diving spots, offering a variety of experiences for divers of all levels.
• Mnemba Atoll (northeast): Mnemba Atoll, a protected area, is renowned for diving and snorkeling, with a long reef featuring beautiful, healthy hard and soft corals.
• Pemba Island: If you are looking for an uncrowded and unspoiled dive site, then Pemba Island is a great option.
• Fumba Bay: If you are interested in technical diving, then Fumba Bay is the place to be.
• Kizimkazi: If you want to see dolphins, turtles, and rays, then Kizimkazi is the perfect spot for you.
Fumba Beach Lodge runs parallel to Ukombe Reef and is 8km in length in the Indian Ocean. After traveling on a traditional Zanzibari Dhow boat for a 25-minute ride you may encounter either the humpback dolphins or the bottlenose dolphins. Ukombe is an amazingly healthy abundant reef with a bottom depth of 15 to 18 metres, the top of the reef is only 3 to 5 metres below the surface and offers a variety of colorful reef fish.
The sea here has abundant macro life. Many species of nudibranches, leaf fish, frogfish, several types of scorpion and lion fish, clown fish, cowfish, boxfish, seahorses, pipe fish, banner fish, Moorish idols, butterfly, many species of wrasse and some parrot fish, coronet and trumpet fish, many types of eels including the ribbon, eel cat fish, garden eels, the blue spotted ray, torpedo ray and sting ray, up-side-down jellyfish, moon jellies, shrimps, crabs and lobster...the list is endless.
The reef itself has the most beautiful leaf coral that looks like a rose garden, finger corals, elkhorn and table coral, many types of soft corals, mushroom coral, leather coral, sea whips and sea pens, anemones, gorgonian coral, barrel, fan, tube, and finger sponges. Divers here between August and October may be lucky enough to see a humpback whale breach the water or jump entirely out of the sea. During that time as well you can often hear the humpback whale's song beneath the surface...a moment you won't ever forget!
Enjoy diving in the crystal-clear water of Mnemba Atoll, explore the vibrant coral reefs, and enjoy the spectacular underwater creatures.
Afterwards return to Fumba Lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 10: Leissure + Sunset
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before departing from the lodge with the dive group.
After breakfast today, begin the day with thrilling dives in deep water to witness countless fish and other marine species. After the morning boat dives, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Later in the afternoon, depart to explore the local souvenir shops on the island. In the late, afternoon enjoy a memorable sunset cruise. After capturing stunning pictures of the sunset over the Indian Ocean, return to the lodge for a delightful dinner.

Day 11: Prison Island + Stone Island + Snorkeling
Your guide will pick you up in the morning after finishing breakfast to start the drive for a city tour of the ancient town known as Stone Town. You will discover this is a town steeped in rich heritage and culture. Visit historical sites, and a market, and enjoy local cuisine at Forodhani night market. Enjoy a relaxing dinner by the beach at one of the island's local restaurants.
Stonetown of Zanzibar, also known as Mji Mkongwe, is the old part of Zanzibar City, the main city of Zanzibar, in Tanzania. The newer portion of the city is known as Ng'ambo, Swahili for 'the other side'.
Afterward, return to Fumba Lodge for an overnight stay.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast before departing from the lodge.
Depending on the time of your flight departure, your guide will pick you up at the agreed time and transfer you to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport to catch your flight home.
